Random Pics From John's Camera

John takes a lot of pictures of the girls with his camera. A lot of the time it is when we are upstairs and don't want to go down stairs to get the camera because we know by the time we get back up somebody will be off doing something else. I got him to put a few on the computer so I could put them on here. So here are a few random pictures he's taken in no particular order.

Yeah, I know some of those pictures are blurry or have the color off a little bit, but they are just too cute not to put on the blog.

Fun Times at the Doctor's Office

So...we have had to wait on the doctor several times over the past two years, which tried our (John and Emily's) patience, but nothing compares to this visit. Having an energetic two year old in a small, sterile exam room for about an hour gets old really fast! At first, it was kind of cute to watch her entertain herself...but we got over that real quick. Thank goodness Carolyn is such a content and happy baby, because she decided that it would be a bad time to give her Mommy and Daddy any grief. Despite the long wait and a restless Annette, everyone is growing and developing right on track. Here are their stats:

Annette (25 months)
Height - 35 inches/90%
Weight - 28 pounds, 6 ounces/75%

Carolyn (2 months)
Height - 24 1/4 inches/97%
Weight - 12 pounds, 14 ounces/95%
Head - 15 1/2 inches/75%

We are so thankful that the girls are doing so well!

There's Nothing Like a Baby's Smile!

Carolyn has been starting to smile a whole lot lately. She started to smile probably about 2 weeks ago, but is now consistently smiling at some point each day. She is definitely a happy, healthy baby girl! Her little arms have a couple small rolls on them. We are going back to the doctor's office next week for her 2 month and Annette's 2 year check ups. We'll update next week with new stats. For now, enjoy the pictures and video of Carolyn's beautiful smile...and ignore the poor color commentary.

Playing with Kami

Man it has been forever since I posted. I have been getting raked over the coals with my grad school course, it has just been so much work. I didn't really know I was getting into this when I started, but oh well, I can make it. Anyway, enough whining and on to the post.

One day last week Annette's friend Kami came over while her Daddy was working and her Mommy had to be at school. Kami and Annette used to go to daycare together last year, but don't anymore. You would have thought they had just seen each other earlier that day though the way they jumped into playing with each other. They had a great time together. We can't wait to do it again.
