So on the 26th we had some friends over to our house for the Texans and Cowboys game (which ended quite nicely). While the guys watched the game, the mommies and kiddos played upstairs and in the back yard. All of the little ones seemed to have a really great time, even if the Daddies were a little disappointed in the result of the game. (Not John though)
(This post took forever because the video editing in the Wisbrock Household needs a little tuneup)

Carolyn's 6 Month Check-Up
I can't even believe it - Carolyn is already 6 months old. Some of the most unique moments in her life have already passed! We took her to the doctor's office yesterday and everything looks great.
Here are her current stats:
Height: 28 1/4 in (100%)
Weight: 17 lbs, 12 oz (80%)
Head: 17 1/2 in (65-70%)
To my surprise, her weight gain slowed a little. She seems to eat so much, but I guess she isn't really eating as much as I think or she has an awesome metabolism. Either way, she is healthy and happy and that's really all I could ever ask for.

Playing Around with Cody
Last weekend our cousin Michael came into town for his birthday and Annette & Carolyn got to hang out with their 2nd cousin Cody. It was a lot of fun to see Cody and Annette play together and Carolyn had some fun too.
After lunch the two moved into laps for dessert.

Annette playing around
Man sometimes, we are so focused on watching little baby Carolyn grow that we forget what a big girl Annette is. Well the other day she reminded us in a couple of big ways. First with how she ate and then with how she played.

Carolyn eats some veggies!!
Carolyn was doing such a good job eating her cereal, that we decided it was time to give her some baby food. We went with Green Beans as her first try (Annette had squash for her first food) and she just ate it up. She had no problem at all eating the beans and seemed to really enjoy it. In fact she ate more than we thought she was going to at first and we had to go back for a second serving. It is very encouraging that she is eating so well, just like her older sister did. This week we are going to move on to squash and carrots too!!
She's carefully considering this new food....
Good thing Mimi is there to help Annette.
