Pretty Dresses and Big Girl Covers

The girls got some cute new dresses from Great Aunt Jane and Busha so we dressed them in them last Sunday. They were too cute in them not to take a bunch of pictures of them. They even kind of cooperated and psuedo posed for us.

What a couple of cuties.

Smile for the camera ladies.

Carolyn is being silly.

Giggly little girls.

So photogenic, they must take after their mom.

Yes, they do.

Except Carolyn doesn't have a crazy person smile.

In addition to dressing up the girls, we also dressed up Annette's bed. We put her comforter, or as she calls it her "Big Girl Blanket", on her bed. This was mostly because she is always cold in the morning because she kicked off her little blankets very quickly and also because we thought she was big enough to enjoy it. Once we put the comforter on we realized that she might want a pillow now too so we gave her one of those as well. She really sleeps like a big girl now.

Other Halloween stuff

So we had a whole bunch of other pictures from the Halloween season that were cute and I could have gone on posting about them for the next two months, but instead I just threw them all into this one. So we have pictures from a pumpkin patch with Addison, making Halloween cookies, and going over to Granma and Poppa's. Hope you like 'em.

Addison and Annette survey the pumpkins.

"These two look good, don't they Carolyn?"

Carolyn has found a pumpkin she likes.

Addison politely explains that Carolyn needs to find some
smaller pumpkins that are more fitting for her small stature.

Than Carolyn found some pumpkins that were more her size.

Packing up the precious cargo, and the babies too.

Annette rolls out the dough for the cookies.

Then she cuts out a pumpkin shape.

I did it!!!

She did it!!!!!!

Getting the second batch ready

Time to ice the pumpkins!

Trick Or Treating Part 2

What an awesome Halloween!!! We had such a great time. Annette was really into the whole Halloween season, and it was great to see her enjoy trick or treating. We started off by heading over to Riverfest, a ghoul free Halloween the church we have been visiting was putting on, for some trunk-or-treating then later we came back to our neighborhood for some of the real thing. Annette and Carolyn were dressed up as butterflies and they were joined by Cody who was dressed up as Woody, though his hat seemed to be on other people more than him. I can't wait until next Halloween when Carolyn will get into the act more too.

Carolyn was so excited to go trunk or treating she couldn't sit straight.

Annette was excited too.

So was Cody.

Don't they look excited.

Woody and the Butterfly go trunk or treating.

Find the good candy Cody.

Little Butterfly passed out.

She still looks excited.

Cody's on a mission for Candy

Annette is enthralled by the pumpkin.

Going up to trick or treat!

Carolyn gets some candy too!!!

Another stop for some loot.
Hurry up answer the door.
The chaperones for the evening.

The Butterfly starts to fly.

Then flies faster.

Then flies off into the night.
