Carolyn's Birthday Party

Wowsers! Little Baby Carolyn is already one. That is just crazy where did the time go. Even though I can't believe she is already a year old, we had a party for her on Sunday. As usual Emily did a great job organizing, planning, and decorating for the party. It had a St. Patrick's day theme and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun, with all the family, friends and kiddos there. Here are some pictures.

The setup.

The cake.

Carolyn's cake.

A couple of cuties.

The party quickly moved outside.

Carolyn liked the sand table.

Annette was playing outside too.

So was Shelby.

Carolyn found a chair.

She found a fun way to sit in it too.

Then she moved to this chair for cake time.

Everybody get ready.

Happy Birthday to you.

"Hey what's that?"

Carolyn's not real sure what to do now.

Emily will give her a taste of icing.

Or maybe not.

I think she likes it.

She is going to try to do it herself now.

Now she's going to get some help.

Kami really likes helping her.

But it doesn't look like she needs it.

Kami's going to help anyway.

Carolyn has the hang of it now.

Yeah, I think she has got it now.

Now she wants to eat the camera.

Annette was more interested in cookies than cake.

And in posing with Aunt Melissa.

Then it was gift opening time.

I decided to help her open her cards.

She found a cool hat.

Then tried to eat the table.

Apparentely people wanted to give her hats this year.

(Maybe it is because she and I have the same haircut)

I guess she wanted to make her own hat after a while.

Or maybe she is looking for more cake.

After the cake Annette wanted to play baseball.

Cody and Zack played too, but I didn't take their pictures.

I did get a picture of Zack and his Dad though.

Then we started the toddler UFC fights.

See I told you Zack and Cody played.

A tired Carolyn watched appreciatively from Michael's lap.
