A Day of Two Parties

Last Saturday Annette and Carolyn got invited to TWO birthday parites (Shelby's and Cody's) and we to go to both, because we are foolsih and gluttons for punishment. The girls did great at both parties and had a really fun time. Shelby's was a princess party that had a bouncy castle and a water table (and lots of yummy food) and Cody's was at Chuck E. Cheese's. It was Annette's first time at Chuck E. Cheese's (and Carolyn's too) and they had a ball. Here are some pics.

Shelby's Mommy had set up a play area for the little ones. Carolyn liked it.

Annette and Shelby liked the water table.

It was shaped like a pirate ship.

But Annette really liked the Princess Bouncy Castle.

Carolyn still liked the tent.

She liked the food too.

Annette and Shelby in the bouncy.

Then it was off to Chuck E. Cheese's and lots of scared looking people.

There was food at this party too.

And Annette had to sit next to Cody.

Cody got to wear a crown.

At one point all the children were transfixed by the TVs.

Except for Braden.

Cody had a Thomas Cake.

Carrie brushed up on her baby holding skills.

Then Chuck E. showed up.

And Cody ran to Michael.

Then everything was cool.

Myles Austin thought it was cool too.

Coday got in the ticket grab machine.
(he needs to work on his strategy though, the human statue didn't seem to work)

Annette rode this Barney train 5 times, but I could only bring myself to put up 1 pic.

Then she and Zac tried Skee-Ball.

They were racking up the points.

Despite her best efforts, I don't think Annette got one ball up the ramp.

Then she played a submarine game.

She actually sank a boat on this game.

This game was pretty cool, the seat moved witht he ride.

Then it was Pinata time.

The kiddos were rabid about the candy and ignored the tickets.

As you can see the kids had a lot of fun at the parties. We will probably have to head back to Chuck E. Cheese's (thanks a lot Michael) and Annette even parlayed her tickets into a ring and two bracelets.

Pics That Annette Took

Annette's friend Kami gave her a kid's digital camera for her birthday, and ever since then Annette has been taking tons of pictures with it (well 376 to be exact). She seems to really enjoy taking pictures, I don't know where she gets that from. Some of the pictures were just junk, but I think she has some real talent, I culled the best from the lot to share them with you so you can judge for yourself.
