Larry's Birthday at Minute Maid!!

For Larry's 60th Birthday Vicki invited us and a whole bunch of other people to a surprise party ath the Astros game. We took her up on the offer. This was Carolyn's first ever game and Annette's second. The girls had lots of fun (despite the 10-4 loss the Astros suffered to the Red Sox) and it was a pretty enjoyable evening for the grownups too.

Annette's glove says she ready for the homerun ball, but her eyes say no.

Now she's awake.

But Cody is hiding his eyes.

Carolyn and Baby Austin are ready too.

A couple of bleacher babes.

We were out in right field.

"Mommy you're supposed to be holding me."

"Ok I'll just go sit with Mimi then"

"Or I'll go to Daddy and eat some Animal Crackers"

I guess somebody needed to sit in Mommy's lap.

Blowing kisses.

Back to the crackers.

I just liked the way her face looked in this picture.

Arlington Represent.

Say Cheeeeeese.

Gimme five.

Say Cheese again.

Everyone wanted to sit with Gramma and Poppa.

Vickie gave all the kiddos big soft Astros balls.

Thanks Vickie!!!

Kisses for Gramma.

Hugs for Poppa.

Now it's time to watch the game.

Vickie had another surprise for Larry.

CUPCAKES!!!!!!

Annette and Jane both wanted chocolate.

And straight to the frosting she went.

It's a cupcake staredown faceoff.

Cody blinked.

He dove right in too.

"Ummmm, you got a little icing on your face."

Carolyn wanted some too.

Annette does her D'Artagnan impersonation.

Then it is off to the "Squeeze Play"

And away they go.

This is not the first time Mike was surrounded by men with bats.

Annette got worried when she couldn't find Cody.

They each got a bat and then posed with Mickey!!

After the game we stayed for fireworks.

Cody was into them, Annette was not.

Carolyn was really into them.

Luckily for Annette, Michael was their to comfort her.

Carolyn didn't need any comfort other than her pacifier.

She just didn't want them to end.
