Carolyn is 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello blogger, long time no see. I figured a great time to make a triumphant return would be for Carolyn's second birthday party. We actually had Carolyn's party on her birthday this year. The theme was Cookie Monster because Carolyn is our little cookie monster. We had a pinata and cookie cake and a great time. It was a lot of work, but worth it.

This is an awesome pinata.

The cookie cake and cookies.

The set up (and yes those are green flowers)

The spread.

Kami and Annette enjoyed the food.

While Jodee and Karli used the swings.

Cody and Austin check out the "climby thing".

Aussie needs help getting down.

Kami is ready to go for a spin!!!

Cake time!!!!

Carolyn is more intersted in Suzie than the cake.

She really, really wanted Suzie.

There that is better.

Mmmmmmmm, that was good cake!!!!!

Then it was time to open presents.

Except Carolyn wants to go outside instead.

Suzie saves the day again!!!!

Ah, much better.

That's okay, Annette will open the gifts for her.

Then it was time for the Pinata, Karli got to go first.

Zach's up!!!!!

Batter Up!!!!!!

Adalyn put a whoopin on it next.

Annette really hit it hard.

What great form.

Uh oh, Daddy's making it tricky.

Kassiana gave it a go too.

Then it was Kami's turn.

Cody wanted to show his skills too.

Mikey decided to show everybody how to do it.

Then it was time to get the candy.

Grandma and Suzie hanging out at the kids table.

After everyone had left, Annette tried on some of Carolyn's costume.

Carolyn wanted some candy.

Mmmmmm, Tootsie Roll.

More candy.

This is what happens with lots of candy and cake.

Oh, she was running to get more cake.

After the party it was time to relax.

So relaxing.

Before dinner the girls read a book.

Ready to go to the table.

Carolyn opened Annette's card.

Here's her card.

Then it was time for more dessert!!

She did a better job blowing out the candle this time.

Yummy Chocolate.

Need more sweets.

I think she probably enjoyed it.

Then she needed to clean up the table.

Fortune cookie time!!!

Annette gave Carolyn this super cute Mickey Mouse pillow.

Then it was time to pose near the horsies!!!

When we got home the girls wanted to color with Carolyn's new markers.

Mommy helped too.

The headless cookie monster looked on.

Our little 2 year old.

What a Sweetie-Pie.

I'm bummed I missed it! Hopefully next year! Although the headless cookie monster might scare me away. ;-)
