Since last summer Annette has been in ballet classes at Sugarland Dance Center. She has gone every Tuesday night to dance practice. She absolutely loves it and often practices her moves or shows them off to others at home. A week from Saturday she is going to be performing with her class in her first recital. Here are some pictures and videos I have taken of her at dance practice with my phone.
Getting ready to go in and dance.
You have to be in the zone.
You need to be ready to get down to business.
And don't forget to stretch.
To get started the class will practice some moves on the bar.
Then do some practice of their routine.
Then apparently its time to run around.
(Sometimes you have to shove your neighbor to get started, that is perfectly acceptable in ballet)
On a different practice day I got pics from the upstairs viewing room.
The girls practiced pirouettes (that's a ballet term)
Then did some other ballet-y stuff.
Annette paid close attention to her teacher.
She has learned so much.
The music accompanying the videos is from Vivaldi's Spring
(I just did that for copyright stuff)
