Disney World Day 1

Through the benevolence of Gammy Aunt Jane and Busha Laurie, we got to take the girls to Disneyworld over Spring Break.  We got to experience a bunch of the girls firsts with them too.  First airplane trip, first theme park, first ride, first roller coaster (Annette), first hotel stay (Carolyn), first Mometer (or Monorail, which Carolyn absolutely loved), and lots of other fun things.  The girls had a ton of fun (as did their cousins, and I daresay the parents and grandparents too).  It was pretty awesome, we got to do a lot of stuff, so much that I am having to break it into two blog posts.  So here is day 1 (as well as some of the airplane stuff)

Some excited cousins are waiting for the plane to Disneyworld.

Captain Annette was ready for take off.

What's your vector, Victor?

Carolyn enjoyed the flight like a pro.

Annette was really concerned about the movie on her Ipad

We arrived and waited for our rental vans!!!

The next morning we got ready to go see Cinderella and the other Princesses.

Here We Go!

You can't tell but they could see the castle from here.

Ready to Roll Out!!

Carolyn enjoyed the ride.

One excited Princess!!

Requisite castle photo.

Carolyn is screaming with excitement.

 CINDERELLA!!!

SNOW WHITE!!

SLEEPING BEAUTY/AURORA/BRIAR ROSE!!!

ARIEL!!!!!

JAZMINE!!

After breakfast we had time for a quick costume change.

Then went for a ride on the carousel.

Then we went to the cars of tomorrow.

Even Carolyn got to drive.

And Annette got her first driver's license.

Then it was off to Dumbo,

Where the adults had just as much fun as the kids.

After Dumbo we got a picture with Ariel.

This time she was a mermaid.

Then it was off to lunch at the Crystal Palace where we met the 100 Acre Wood gang.

Everyone was excited about Tigger.

Then, I made a move on Pooh-bear.

But the girls got jealous.

And had to get some "Hunny" of their own.  (Do you see what I did there?)

Blurry but cute.

Eeyore was everybody's favorite.

Austin got a high five from Piglet.

And Annette got a hug.

Sweet Piglet.

Before we went to see Belle, Willie Gaston got photobombed by Gaston.

By this point the girls legs were tired so they found rides.

And Carolyn chilled with Mommy.

You can't tell but the big Armoire thing is talking to them here and giving them roles.

Bryan got to be a suit of armor.

Carolyn got to meet Belle.

Everybody had fun.

That evening the old folks watched the kiddos so we could go back to the park by ourselves.
