The weather has been so nice recently that we had to get out and work in the yard. First we cleaned up the front yard flower bed and mowed the yard (Annette was a workhorse), then we planted some plants that Mimi had given the girls. (Mema helped with that). We had a lot of fun, maybe with days like these we will get out here more and actually make our yard look nice (yeah right, and we will keep the blog updated too).

After that it is time to mow.

Then it was time to rest tired feet and wet your whistle.

Ahh, nothing like kicking back after a hard days work.

A couple of days later it was time to plant. We brought in an expert to help.

The girls thought we needed to fill the pots all the way to the top.

Mema straightened them out though.

Annette put some seeds into the pot.

Just a little more soil and we are all set!!!!!!

Carolyn is 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello blogger, long time no see. I figured a great time to make a triumphant return would be for Carolyn's second birthday party. We actually had Carolyn's party on her birthday this year. The theme was Cookie Monster because Carolyn is our little cookie monster. We had a pinata and cookie cake and a great time. It was a lot of work, but worth it.
