Annette is three years and 3 months old, and until today she had not had a haircut. This morning after her mommy got home from her haircut Annette told us that she needed a haircut because her hair was "so so long". So Emily did a little investigating on the internet and we decided to tkaer her to a place called Cool Cuts 4 Kids. She sat very still for her haircut and did a great job, she even got a lollipop. Then she said that she had "pretty hair".

Swim Lesson
Baby backstroke.
Walking on the wall.
Climbing out.
Trying to float on her back.
She did better this time.
Then her lesson was over.
Time to hit the showers.

Going to the Park(s)
Last Friday we really enjoyed a nice summer day. We took the girls to the neighborhood park in the morning and had fun watching them play. Carolyn is really starting to get into climbing on the playground (just enough to make us run around chasing her in case she decides to fall, or walk off the edge) and Annette had fun as usual. When it got too hot we went home for lunch and Aunt Melissa and Baby Austin popped in. We played with them for a while and then it was naptime to get ready for the evening's festivities. That night we went over to a different neighborhood park for a Playdate with people from the River (our church). Aunt Melissa and Baby Austin were there again, but this time they decided to let Uncle Will come too. Plus there were some other friends form church there and the girls again had a great time. Summer is awesome(ly hot).
Carolyn followed her sister right up the stairs.
But not through the tunnel.
Time to go swing.
"I want to go back there"
"Up there too"
Now she'll try these stairs.
"It's a long way up."
Almost there.
I think she is acting out "Rocky" in her head right now.
Still more steps.
And more steps.
Then back to the swings.
Annette is ready to head home.
Because she had an appointment to teach Baby Austin how to play piano.
That evening Mrs. Mary had brought popsicles.
